I know, I need to update in a bad way! Truthfully it’s been super busy and I am waiting on some Halloween pics to post so I can stay in a timeline. I hope to be updating this weekend!

You are more than your daddy and I could have ever dreamed of. We had no idea how much we would love you and LIKE you! You are a wonderful boy, tender at heart, full of energy, athletic and amazingly smart! You give the best bear hugs, love to wrestle, are facinated with books, trucks, planes and motorcycles and you are a wonderful big brother! I thank God for you as often as I can. Dear William,

You are my sweet baby boy. Don’t tell your brother, but you and I share an extra special bond. You are definitely mommy’s little boy. We spend a lot of time together because you like to be held only by mommy and won’t take naps during the day otherwise. At night I often bring you back to bed with me to sleep those early morning hours away. I love to snuggle with you.  I love it when you talk to me and when you watch me cook with those gorgeous blue eyes. You are so strong for your age - you can already sit in the Bumbo and keep your head steady. You are 12lbs 13oz which is wonderful. You came into the world at 9lbs 1 oz but quickly went down to 8lbs. Mommy is so proud that you did this mostly from nursing! I can tell that you can’t wait to run around and play with your brother. Isaac loves you very much and one day soon he’ll get to wrestle with you AND daddy. You are growing and changing so fast, it’s hard to keep up. I pray that I will never forget these early days of your life and cherish all the cuddles and kisses I can get! I love you so very much. ~Mommy

Fall is my favorite time of year and so far I’m loving this year’s weather! This past weekend was perfect with upper 50’s/low 60’s, sunny and windy! The mornings were cold and crisp and you could smell neighboring fireplaces going. Great for coffee and lounging around the house! Taking Isaac to the park is so much fun since now he can crunch in the leaves and it’s great walking weather too – hard to get too hot! Of course this matters to me since I am wearing William in a pack.

Anyway, one thing I especially love about fall is that it is the kickoff to the holidays and I can break out the decorations. Of course they are much more subdued this year with Isaac getting into everything but it’s still festive! I rearranged our living room over the weekend to give Isaac a lot more ‘running around’ room and I LOVE IT!

A year ago today I was recovering from this…

walking the Bellingham Bay Marathon!

A lot has happened since then, I have obviously become pregnant and delivered a beautiful baby boy and in the meantime become really out of shape! So, looking to the coming year, I have a few to-do’s to get my health back in order. Next September I would like to participate in this event again, but this time running the 5K. Of course I hope to run a few more before then like the Tulip Fun Run in April and any other local ones to keep my training up and to stay motivated. It’s is possible I may try for a local mini-triathalon or participate in the Danskin next year as well. I have also started drinking green smoothies for breakfast and am currently doing a 30 day challenge and am looking forward to the results. Overall, I’d like to shed some pounds, be focused on healthy eating for myself and my family and be well on my way to running a 5K by my 30th birthday (4 months away). I will continue to check in about this new journey…

We started out as a small group – all couples without children and today we have grown exponentially! We have gone through so much together and know that our lives will never be without these amazing people!

Once upon a time ago, our BABIES  played like this…

and in a flash and all turning 2, they have grown into these precious and very individual KIDS!

It has been such a pleasure to watch them grow and change! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the newest additions…

Though I love these kids and babies like they are all my own, I especially love their mommies! These women have enriched my life beyond words and I can’t imagine being me without them. They are ALWAYS there for me and being a stay at home mom wouldn’t be nearly as fun without them! I have only God to thank for them and I know he placed them in my life purposely and for forever!

Sonny and Isaac are looking more alike every day and I love it! With William here, they have been spending even more time together going fishing or running errands and playing together more on family outings like when we went to Hovander park. Sonny is a wonderful father and Isaac is so much fun these days! Here are a few pics from this month of my “twins” I love you both more than you know!

Isaac has always been a bit of a book worm – he loves to have us read to him and often will play by himself in the living room and stand at his book corner and look at books for easily 30 minutes. There isn’t a day that goes by that he doesn’t get read to or look at his books. We even keep them in the car to keep him occupied. Recently, he’s been reading in bed once we put him down. He might do this for a few minutes or for hours. It’s hard to discipline him to go to bed when he’s being quiet and learning! His fishtank light gives him enough to read by. I got this photo below (you don’t get the full effect since he’s not in the dark with the fishtank glowing, but you’ll have to use your imagination). The best moment, though, was when I checked on him about a week ago and he had a board book stuck to his face because he feel asleep while reading – it’s was hysterical. I should have gotten a photo then but I didn’t want to wake him! I actually had to PEEL the book off his face and amazingly he didn’t wake up! LOL! We love our little book worm to pieces!
