I am in desperate need to update my blog with all of our June events but have been busy with work and trying to spend my free time with Isaac and Sonny to soak it all up before the baby arrives. Tomorrow is exactly 6 more weeks to our due date though we hope he’ll be here in July as he is already weighing more than Isaac was at this point and I’m getting a little anxious about birthing another BIG baby. Remember, Isaac was 9lbs 21 inches and I was in labor 36 hours (3 of which was pushing!) Sigh! Oh, well it was all worth it before and I know it will be easier the 2nd time around.
Ok, let’s get to the fun stuff! The nursery is 99% done! All that is left is hanging some pictures and homemade ABC’s up on the walls to add some color. We decided not to put up a border or paint any fun extras since this is the room the boys will share soon. Here are some pics of what it looks like so far…

We’ve just decided to buy a BOB Duallie Jogging Stroller for the boys and intended to use a 20% REI member coupon. We went to the store on Saturday and found out that we didn’t read the fine print well enough and it had already expired and all upcoming coupons were not valid on BOB products. So, we left disappointed and figured we’d do some searching for a better deal since the coupon was going to save us over $100! This morning I hopped onto craiglist and found the EXACT stroller we wanted that had been posted last night for less than what we would have paid for it with a coupon at REI. Fortunately we contact the owners first and get first shot. (By the time we saw it, they had already received three other inquiries)! We bought it today and it’s in fantastic shape! Thank you God for handling this detail in our lives! I know we’ll get lots of great use out of it!

In order to get all this baby stuff ready, we’ve had to do major rearranging in our house with all of our rooms. We have two up and two down plus a bonus open room (living area) downstairs. So, we all moved downstairs so the boys can each have a room and Sonny and I are in the bonus area! We moved our office back upstairs into Isaac’s old room and made our master a guest bedroom. The bathroom downstairs is 3x larger than the ones upstairs and the laundry is downstairs as well. So far, we really like the change and I know it will work well for the baby. The only downside is if anyone tries to sleep-in in the morning and the other parent is upstairs with Isaac, walking around can be quite loud and makes it difficult to get that extra sleep. Oh, and Sonny also put up lattice around our deck and a gate at the end so Isaac can play safely without being watched like a hawk. He loves to run around the deck, water the flowers, ride his various toys/bike and play with chalk. Here are some pics of the new rooms… (I need to get one of Isaac’s and our new room)

Last topic: the pregnancy. I just want to say that I think it’s funny that only a week ago I was wishing William would drop a bit because I would get short of breath easy and lying down at night trying to get comfortable made it practically impossible to breath! Anyway, I got my wish this morning but I’m not so sure I wanted it afterall :O
Now, I have to pee 2x as much and my back is hurting from him popping out so much further but at least I can breath again. Let’s hope these next 6 weeks or so go quick – I’m getting excited to meet this baby!

Yay about the stroller…that is so awesome, you and your belly look super cute, and I love the new photo of Sonny & Isaac!
