Recently, our local fire station had a pancake breakfast and brought out all their trucks and that little house where kids learn about fire. It was originally my dad’s (Poppy) idea to take Isaac to the breakfast. I couldn’t believe how much Isaac enjoyed the morning! He loved sitting at the big table across from Nana and Poppy eating pancakes, eggs and ham and he loved even more checking out the fire engines and ambulances. He was too little to go in the house, but he was sure to make away with his own fireman’s hat which he loves! I’m sure this is a new tradition for our family as they have these events 2-3 times each year!
